Red Lobster Has Entered The Chicken Sandwich Game
Red Lobster is officially getting into the chicken sandwich game. The company has just unveiled its new Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich features two crispy chicken tenders tossed in Nashville hot seasoning and sweet honey. It is topped with pickled peppers and ranch, all served on a brioche bun.
“Guests might think of us solely for seafood, but we’ve created an amazing chicken sandwich that will surely become your favorite. From sweet heat to a punch of vinegar from the peppers, the flavor combinations will have you wondering if a seafood restaurant really just topped all your crispy chicken sandwich expectations,” said Chef Dustin Hilinski, Executive Chef and Director of Culinary at Red Lobster.
The announcement is just one of several changes coming to the beloved seafood chain. They have also scrapped their signature 22-page menu book (which reportedly took customers over 18 minutes to read) for a single page menu. Other new menu offerings include a new Crispy Cod Sandwich (known as the “Codzilla“), a Wagyu Bacon Cheeseburger and a Baja Shrimp Bowl.
