Ugandan Opposition Party Will Challenge Election Result: Bobi Wine, the opposition candidate, will challenge results of the presidential election in Uganda, where President Yoweri Museveni was declared the winner. Wine was put on house arrest, and a nationwide internet lockdown was instituted shortly before the election. Museveni has been in power since 1986.
Rohit Chopra to Lead Consumer Protection Agency: Rohit Chopra has been chosen by President-elect Joe Biden to lead the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Chopra is currently a member of the FTC, and is known as an ally of Senator Elizabeth Warren, who architected the agency during the Obama administration.
